Sean, his Mama and the staff are the sweetest, kindest, most conscientious people making the best local breakfast at the best price! Three pancakes for $3.50?! Made directly in front of you fresh by a kitchen magician?! Café Express is the kind of food and atmosphere everyone wishes for in their heart. Calling ahead is good, esp if you’re on the clock: I drive rideshare and will recommend this spot to my clients and fellow drivers. That’s the best compliment I can give a spot!

Loved it. Loved it. And I'll say it again..... Loved it. This is a place that's had everything imaginable fried in the kitchen (with love). I had a tough time choosing from the many offerings do I ordered two plates. Hey, don't judge, I saved one for dinner! The catfish was fried perfectly, the smothered pork chop was tender, the greens were good, the corn bread was sweet, and the potato salad was just right. There's not a lot of seating inside and most people are not there to dine in, they're just waiting on their orders. With that said, you may want to order ahead. In any case you can't go wrong and I suggest ordering two plates anyway. ????
