Cafe 59

Cafe 59 is my favorite favorite restaurant in Buffalo. It’s cozy and has a really good regular menu. What sets it apart is their daily specials. This is where I take friends who aren’t from Buffalo. The risotto is to die for. They have a good sized beer & wine list and a full scale bar. Perfect on a weekday or weekend for a no fuss dinner or lunch. They’re known for their chicken finger sub, which is impressive and delicious. I can’t say enough good about this place!

Food was excellent, Chicken Finger sub is what they are known for, next time, in going to try the Bourbon Chicken. Today, I'm having Spicy Risotto with Roasted Jalapenos, Sweet Corn, Roasted Red Peppers, smoked gouda and cilantro, with St Bernardus, a pricey but excellent Begium beer ????

This place has been amazing the past 2 visits. Always get seating right away, and drinks delivered promptly. I had a spicy burger on a pretzel bun (weekly special) my last visit. This tasted amazing, way better than the place up the road that focus on burgers. I hope it becomes a permanent menu selection! I will definitely continue to dine in here, cant wait for next time.
