Food…AMAZING! Highly recommend the seasonal salad and the shrimp pasta. The service was outstanding. Our Waiter was Michael, really enjoyed him. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations.
We are no stranger to Burwell’s and their steak is by far the best quality and their wagyu beef pure perfection. For the appetizer we had snake river farms wagyu hot rock, lamb lollipops on hot rock which you grill on the rock yourself, and oysters rockefeller. They all were absolutes delicious in every bite. We had 8 oz snake river farms wagyu hanger with lobster tail and for the sides truffles parmesan mashed potatoes, asparagus and with mushroom and shallots sauce , 6 oz petites fillet mignon, and classic southern jambalaya. The drinks options were amazing as well and I really enjoy their berry bubbly. We went to all steak places in Charleston and Burwell’s still best than those places. We definitely recommend this amazing restaurant.
We went to Burwell’s when we were visiting Charleston and wanted to have a “fancy” night. The good news is you can come casual! They did not disappoint. I absolutely loved the feel of this place! It has a nice and cool vibe to it. It was such a great atmosphere! Our waiter was fantastic! I think his name was maybe Nick, but I do know he was from Detroit. He was on top of it. He was kind, efficient funny, and very knowledgeable of the menus and recommendations. He was great! The cocktails are fantastic as well. My favorite was the berry bubbly and my husband loved the old fashioned. The food…oh my goodness, the food! It was all so phenomenal. We started off with the crab cake appetizer and it was so delicious. For our entree, I had the filet mignon and my husband had the Wagyu steak. We both agreed this was the best steak we’ve ever had!
