First time at Burger Monger, it was good, but not the greatest burger, it is just something different to try.
Burgers are really good. It seems like they are good hand pattied burgers. Definitely not the frozen pucks you get at most places. Bacon Blue burger is great! Prices are reasonable too.
I was excited to see Burger Monger on the list for Creative Loafing's Burger Week 2022. Guy and have been there several times and always enjoyed the food. This time was a huge disappointment. Things have changed! First, I was surprised to see only one other couple there. After all, this IS Burger Week, November 3-9, 2022. (If you're not familiar with Burger Week, the Creative Loafing website will tell you about it.) Check out the first picture of the burger I posted. That face says it in a way I never could. They have the best fries. Let me restate that, they HAD the best fries. They used to be natural cut, fries. Not this time. For some reason they switched to frozen fries. At the first bite, I knew they were made from frozen fries. When I asked about this,the employees did a little sidestep dance, but they did admit the restaurant had changed suppliers. Blamed it on....... guess who COVID! (The menu still lists natural sliced French fries). I suppose in today's market, machine proce
