Must Try Dishes

At Buddakan in New York, the standout dish is undoubtedly the edamame dumplings, which present a subtle blend of flavors encased in delicate wrapping. Another must-try is the mouthwatering whole Peking duck, carved table-side and served with all necessary accompaniments for a traditional Chinese feast. Additionally, their glazed Alaskan black cod with eggplant and black bean relish is truly a gourmet delight. Don't skip the char siu pork buns, a perfect blend of sweet and salty wrapped in a fluffy bun. For dessert, the cryo chocolate mousse with coconut sorbet is a sublime choice.

I do have to admit the moody lighting is not ideal for menu reading where half the guests are taking out their phone torches because they can't see the menu ???? This was in the upper dining area,it looks like it's more well lit downstairs. The food was good ,when it arrived , one of our party's dish didn't arrive until everyone else had finished which was a bit disappointing. But they did comp that due to the delay. The Answer cocktail, delicious. Dim sum tasting, worth it. Black pepper beef, tasty. Whole seabass, flavorful! The atmosphere alone is amazing. I saw mixed reviews about the food, but we enjoyed everything! I recommend!

Everything I ordered from the Chili Shrimp to the Edamame Dumplings, shrimp noodles, to the dessert was delicious. The service was top notch. If you have dietary restrictions or request Halal, they can accommodate you if you give them a week prior notice. Portions are not big but some items can be shared.
