Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

I went with a party of three. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. For entrees, we ordered the Surf and Surf, New Orleans Shrimp, and a cheeseburger. The food tasted okay, basically what you would expect from a chain. But I don't think the portions were large enough to justify the prices charged. Expect to spend at least $30/person. Side note: our server Michael was excellent! Parking: The Garden Walk parking structure is a paid garage, but the stores at the Garden Walk can provide validation (only one validation per parking ticket)

We wanted to love it. We had high hopes and were excited to eat here during our Disneyland vacation. We ordered a bowl of gumbo as an appetizer. It was so flavorful. Absolutely amazing! We then ordered 2 Jenny's Surf and Surf, side of mac and cheese and the Bourbon Street Mahi Mahi and Shrimp combo. They looked great as you can see from the picture but tasted terrible. The salmon was so dry as were the shrimp. My daughters refused to eat any of it and they love seafood. My husband and I bit the bullet and tried to enjoy it but it wasn't a successful meal. Salt and pepper were no match for the dry flavorless main courses. I will say the mashed potatoes were very good. We enjoyed the flavor and texture. We ordered dessert to go. It was yummy. The waitress was very nice and friendly. We tipped her well because she deserved it. We spent $130 on dinner and was quite disappointed. Not sure why people like the place. The food was not good. We'll try the San Francisco location one day maybe.

I want to eat here again so badly! I devoured my coconut shrimp! It was mouthwatering delicious! My fiancé and kids devoured their food as well and everyone kept talking about how delicious their food was. I didn’t catch our server’s name (she has the cutest short haircut and awesome tattoos), but she was awesome! Very personable, sweet, and made sure we were taken care of. I think having a phenomenal server can completely change the dining experience. We will be back!
