So here's the thing, I used to drive by it, and always wanted to get in and try the patesiry, thinking it's a cafe, well it's not! Finally got the chance to get in, and can't complain! Great service, good atmosphere, Food was tasty, I know it's my first time, but I enjoyed my meal, and the server was very nice and efficient. Will come back for dinner this time!!
Brooklyn Cafe is a Sandy Springs gem, and there's a reason - the food is delicious and the wine list is excellent and reasonable. DH had the thick turkey sandwich and I had the crab case salad. Probably the best crab cake in Atlanta. Make reservations, even for lunch. If you're into wine, join the wine club. Jeff provides some great deals and some hard to get selections!
First visit yesterday and certainly won't be my last. My friend and I had a late lunch on the patio yesterday. We started with the hickory smoked salmon app. Simply fantastic. Then we shared the shrimp, tomato and avocado salad. The greens were so fresh! We also shared the crab cake and green beans. Probably the best crab cake I have ever had. Our server was lovely, we could not have asked for better food or service.
