Sometimes recommendation hit the mark and others come up short, and in this case very short. Lets start with the pricing. Over priced would be an understatement. $52 for a family of four , one of which is two years old is a bit much. Dont get me wrong, I will gladly pay any price within reason for great food and service. The tables are filthy and our feet stuck to the floor when we walked to our table. I honestly should have gotten the order to go. I love local restaurants and prefer them over a chain any day. However. In this case I found no value over a Rasing Caines or Zaxbys. Will give it another try later on. I recommend to go orders only.
Boxcar Betty's is always amazing. We have never had a bad meal. The chicken is fresh and crispy. The fried pickles and green tomatoes.
Had to come here because of the hype. It was worth it. I had the original chicken sandwich with fries and pickled fried green tomatoes, and washed it down with their sweet tea. Definitely worth a try if you like crispy chicken sandwiches.
