This steak was amazing. I had the big filet, it was cooked to perfection with this amazing finish on the outside. I opted for the additional garlic compound butter, I hope every steak house learns from this place and adds that to their menu. The Mac and cheese was also excellent with good texture and the sauce was great! We had the pesto shrimp and pork belly for an appetizer, both were amazing as well. The pesto shrimp was my favorite of the two
Best restaurant I’ve ever been to! My husband and I came here on a long overdue date night, choosing the place last minute so we didn’t know what to expect. We were blown away!! Amazing food. Amazing drinks. Amazing hospitality. Must try the Tuna Tartare (best I’ve ever had) and the Serrano Serenade cocktail. We didn’t have a reservation so we sat at the bar for dinner, but seriously had some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. We will definitely be coming back.
Needless to say, I was disappointed. First the good- the service was excellent - no complaints there. Friendly and attentive first-rate service. The food, however, was just ok. Considering the tally at the end of the night- not really worth it. My steak - bone-in NY- came very rare while ordered medium rare. That’s a bit on me- I should have sent it back. I didn’t, and I didn’t enjoy it at all. They have this fun gimmick- pick your steak knife. It would be just a little better if the knives were actually sharp. So imagine a dull knife up against a rare steak. Yea, you get the picture. Sad but true. I have no doubt others get exactly what they’ve after in this steakhouse. I had an unlucky night. The other meals were just ok, including the uninspired au gratin potatoes. Sorry… I wish I had a better experience- was the one steak dinner we had while in town.
