Boucanes BBQ

Listen I went grocery shopping at Wayfield and came back home hungry. I didn't feel like cooking. I didn't have to because my daughter had a plate of barbecue smelling good that Uber Eats had just delivered. Let me be clear this is real pit barbecue. It has the smoke. You can smell it and taste it. This is essential because other spots don't do smoke barbecue. Listen this picture doesn't do the plate justice. Seriously there is a good deal of meat on this plate under there. The plate had Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, Macaroni and Cheese and Collard Greens. Pulled Pork- Very seasoned and tender. Not dry or old meat that been sitting around Beef Brisket- The star ***** on the plate. Whew this brisket was moist, juicy, tender but most of all had the best seasoning and smoke with just the right amount of fat. Omg!!!! This is a hit. Collard Greens- Lots of flavor both sweet and vinegar. It doesn't lack seasoning but needed to be cooked a bit more. It's hard to get greens tender this time of ye

I’ve eaten at all of the big name bbq places in Atlanta but Boucanes is the best. The standout is the ribs but the pulled pork is also excellent. Regarding side dishes everything is good but they make the best yams I’ve ever had. They have a small outdoor dining area/patio but there isn’t a restroom that I could see so I wouldn’t eat here, it’s pretty much just for take out.

Came into East point to check on one of our property’s decided to drop in and try the barbecue and hands-down would have to say the best barbecue I ever had beats Shane‘s and Foxx brothers all day long. The barbecue sauce is just as good. I would highly recommend
