My boyfriend and I came here for the first time today and will definitely be returning! Mark, the owner, explained their plant based options to us. We had the vegan calamari, bruschetta, pizza and pasta with some vegetables and it was all amazing! The staff is super nice too! On Mondays the restaurant donates to a non profit! Reliable, consistently excellent,Bona should be in your top 3 Italian restaurants for the tri-county area. Men is relatively simple with all of the usual choices for pasta, parmigiana and such. The difference is in the quality of ingredients, freshly prepared everything, there own flavor profiles and seasoning blends. These plates feel like they nourish your soul, like your six and mom is serving you hot spaghetti on a cold winter night. Its deeply satisfying to be served a dish cooked properly, served by a polite waitress that knee how to be friendly, prompt and most of all NON-INTRUSIVE ! Our server gave really proper attention, she was attentive but didn’t ask extended questions or go off on some long story about her aunties dog needing a kidney or her car breaking down, she also didn’t audition to be our new best friend, some people might find simple service to be boring, done well as it is at Bona it is a genuinely pleasant refreshing experience. This was the first time my partner and I dined here and our experience was amazing. Matthew, our server, was completely on point. He was extremely attentive, made excellent recommendations, and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Glen, the manager, also stopped by our table multiple times. We were very impressed. We will now make this our "go-to" restaurant during our dates nights. Thanks for an awesome experience!
