Dolce Salato Pizza and Gelato Fort Lauderdale

I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan with a salad. The salad was full of fresh vegetables accompanied with Italian dressing it was really delicious. It didn't take long for my meal to arrive. The eggplant was cooked perfectly. It wasn't heavily breaded and fried like other places. It was baked with cheese and sauce between the layers. Served with slices of bread. It was the perfect temperature, and it tasted amazing. Definitely will be ordering this again. I highly recommend this place if you're in Wilton Manors. The pizza is amazing, as well as the gelato.

So good I had to STOP half way through our lunch date to post a review. This was our 1st visit here and we can definitively say we have FINALLY found the best , authentic , Italian/NY style pizza. The staff is awesome and helpful, the specials was only 5.99 for 2 slices and a drink and its great to hear fluent Italian being spoke in the kitchen. The pizza is thin, crispy and lightly charred from the pizza oven so it has that snap and crack like a TRUE slice of pizza. You WONT BE LET DOWN.

My sister and I had the most amazing experience today at the Hammock Beach Pizza and Gelato. The manager, Carlos and the chef were very friendly and provided excellent pizza options and made us a customized pizza based on what we told them we liked and the pizza they made was so delicious! The customer service experience was bar none. They went out of their way to give us a special experience and checked up on us as we ate the pizza on the beautiful deck. The gelato was also very delicious and authentic just like the pizza was. There are many flavors to choise from and they are happy to let you taste the many flavors. We plan to return to the resort just to return to this amazing eatery.
