Boiling House Seafood & Sushi Bar

I took my family to this establishment and was greeted by this sign. My family and I left because this is unacceptable. This company has went down in sales I’m sure because you don’t see a lot of foot traffic. Businesses think they can do whatever when I don’t believe this is legal. Response to owner: If your staff is sweet and are nice, people would more than likely tip more than 10%. This business is and has driven away their patrons so it’s hurting their staff. If most people leave 15%-20% tips why would you short your staff. No logic at all.

My wife and I at the Boiling House Seafood and sushi restaurant while in Akron for a few days. We were very impressed. Great food and service. We both had the seafood combo's that come in a steaming bag and it was a lot of fun, and tasted great. I had the seaweed salad and really enjoyed it. We will definitely return. Surprised they didn't offer sashimi. Only sampled a couple basic rolls and they were okay. The corn fritters are worth trying from the appetizer selections.
