Bogart's American Kitchen

Nice place. I asked for a salmon benedict. Flavor was very good. But the portion size of the salmon compared to the rest of the plate was underwhelming. And this is a dish I order anywhere I can. By far the smallest salmon portion I’ve been presented with so far. In fairness, the home fries were some of the best I’ve had in a while. The chocolate chip pancakes were amazing. But the hot chocolate my son ordered was either made with zero milk or not enough to register. Very watery.

My friend recommended Boggarts, he also added that I did not need a reservation. When we got there the hostess told my wife that without reservation the waiting time was one hour. I went back (saw a couple of available tables), and asked if we can wait at the bar (there were chairs available). The hostess who never make eye contact with us, told us that there was no availability. In summary, made us feel unwelcome

I have been going to Bogart's for years since they were located at a smaller location, and I always have had the best service. There are even some employees who have there for years making it seem like family. Besides the service, I enjoy there food which is really my comfort food. As a vegetarian, they are OK with making changes for me.
