Bob Evans

Service is always great, we can get breakfast and dinner.

We visited Bob Evans because they have my favorite sausage gravy of all restaurants we’ve visited so far. They have alway received all 5s from me but this one generously gets 4s. There was an attitude from the hostess. Now, I perceived it as an attitude, but the could have been her normal demeanor. If so, the usually attitude of a hostess is usually nicer and more approachable than hers. The waitress was a little impatient. She didn’t like changes and modifications, at first. However, it got a bit better with time. Parts of the order was cold and over done. Replacements were given and they were good. The first batch of gravy was thin, runny, and tasted watered down. The next batch was better. I got maple bacon appetizer. For breakfast, I got the country fried steak with eggs and home potatoes. It also came with banana nut bread. My husband got the blueberry pancakes with sausage patties. He said it very good. We all have had days so it was a nice breakfast overall. Not sure if we will

Food was good and we had a great waitress. There was a little bit of a wait when we arrived, but that was okay. They called our name, we went up and we're seated. Then the hostess came back and accused us of line jumping! Apparently someone else had the same name and said we jumped in when no one else was even up there when they called the name. We were horrified they would even do this. The hostess should have realized the names were the same and distinguished them somehow. If anything she should have apologized to the other party for the mix up and just seated them next since it was her oversight. This hostess has a lot of learn about customer service. We noted she was also rude to another group while we were waiting, and she didn't have a very warm and welcoming manner when greeting any of the guests.
