Blaze Pizza

Consistently unimpressed with this Blaze. The last few visits have left me very disappointed; there is a clear lack of management or structure. All I see when I walk in are too many people standing around doing nothing and chatting. I ordered on the mobile app and arrived early - no problem stood but the togo rack. I saw 2 cheese pizzas sitting on the cutting rack but didn’t say anything, those probably weren’t my pies. 5 minutes later they asked for my name and said it will be ready soon. There were no pies in the oven so I stepped outside for a minute. I come back in and my order is miraculously ready (no way they cooked the pies that fast), they took the cold pies that had been sitting on the rack and boxed those up 10 minutes after I arrived. I called them on this and was quickly given 2 free coupons, great. Point here is management is missing a huge opportunity to deliver some leadership to their employees to be motivated, greet their customers, provide good service, and (gasp)

Fresh pizza with four varieties of crust, numerous sauces, and toppings galore! The Green Stripe was awesome. Their take on Greek Salad inspires. Great selection of beverages to go with your meal. In one word, "Fresh!" Will visit again when in Encinitas.

Been to quite a few Blaze Pizza locations and I understand how difficult running a food business can be. But still ... Very dirty, the staff topped the pizzas with about half to 2/3 of each topping that the Blaze location up in Carlsbad did just two nights prior ... Yes, we're frequent Blaze customers and will be back, next time we'll look around before ordering. Might have been a busy night with new staff?
