A neighborhood gem. Free easy to find parking, popular laid back area near transit & the center of town, inviting contemporary decor, friendly efficient staff & prompt service. Most important the food is very good. The salad was delicious, appeared simple, but had wonderful layers of flavor. Similarly, the hamburger was not much more than the paddy & the bun but was moist and one of the best tasting burgers I've ever had (albeit a tad bit too salty). The bourbon cocktail I had was also very nice. I will definitely be back!
We wanted to love this place. But from the moment we walked in, everything was off. Maybe it was just a bad night, but we basically had to send everything we ordered back because of quality or it being cooked wrong. All of which was met with attitude. The idea of everything we ordered was good. But the execution was very poor. The only thing we both had no complaints about were the drinks… so I guess kudos to the bartender.
We got steak, duck breast, cod and mushrooms for entrees. Have to be honest, the mushrooms dish is our favorite. Duck breast is also very delicious. The steak and cod are good but not impressive. Very cool vibe, family friendly.
