The food here is excellent. The duck breast was well prepared. I noticed however that the waiters were in a rush to take the plates away while we were eating. So we had to ask them twice not to take the food. For such a nice restaurant it is a given that you would like to enjoy your evening and therefor you do not want to be rushed.
A neighborhood gem. Free easy to find parking, popular laid back area near transit & the center of town, inviting contemporary decor, friendly efficient staff & prompt service. Most important the food is very good. The salad was delicious, appeared simple, but had wonderful layers of flavor. Similarly, the hamburger was not much more than the paddy & the bun but was moist and one of the best tasting burgers I've ever had (albeit a tad bit too salty). The bourbon cocktail I had was also very nice. I will definitely be back!
Delicious food. Vegetarian friendly options available. Good portions for their small plates. Had the grilled mushroom entree, mussels and gnocchi small plates and the bread pudding for dessert that you see in the pictures. We both left very full. Service was great. The only thing is the outside ambiance could be better to elevate the experience. We were celebrating and they were kind enough to offer us some complimentary sparkling wine which we appreciated!
