Black Diamond BBQ - McAllen

This little gem was quaint inside with a totally hometown feel. Talk about meat... the brisket was outstanding and slow cooked to perfection. The sausage, ribs and chicken looked amazing. I went with the chicken which was super smoky and bursting with goodness. The peach cobbler with ice cream was tasty and was the perfect place for a super bbq lunch

Went here to try it out because of the reviews. I took my parents, they ordered spicy sausage sandwich and a plate with charro beans and potato salad. I ordered the chicken plate with a brisket sandwich with Mac and cheese and potato salad. Everything was great except the chicken, it was a bit dry and the Mac and cheese should have been more cheesy. But everything else was great especially the brisket.

Very rarely give 5 star, but I totally had to on this one. Sorry didn't get pic of sandwich I ate but it was delicious! Brisket was moist, cooked just right. Sausage was also good. But OMG I LOVED the potato salad. I had to give compliments to the server, Angie; and she made the potato salad. Hubs and I were so satisfied with meal that we ordered meat for Thanksgiving. BBQ sauce was just right. Definitely making this our go to spot for BBQ. And they do doordash, so I'll be ordering lunch one day. Next time I'm going to try a little bit of everything cuz I gotta kno lol. ???? Oh, very reasonably priced, just the one's I remember per 1/2 lb brisket 10$ Turkey 8$. And they have daily specials
