My family and I dined in @ the location in Glendale, Calif, in an effort to celebrate my birthday. The service was horrible & the wait to close out our bill was simply ridiculous. Just my luck I was sent a survey based on my experience. I was very transparent with my rating based on the non-lack of service in which we received. I was contacted via telephone by the facilities manager, Mr. Mike L. He asked that I phone him back to discuss with him my most recent/past experience. We spoke, he stated, “he was very appreciative of my transparency & the fact that I made myself available for an exchange of dialogue. He, would speak w/his team, and wanted to provide for me an opportunity to celebrate my b-day by providing my me an $75 meal credit. LOL… Let’s just say, “it’s 11/15/2022, & I am still awaiting a meal credit for a visit that took place on 9/26/2022”. Very disappointing!!!!

It is one of the best services I have received at a restaurant in a while. I have to give a shout-out to Jay. He had the best personality, very upbeat and stopping at all his tables making sure everything was good. We came in last week on a busy Saturday. Jay just came onto his shift by the bar area. He was totally cool and immediately took our order. I asked him to bring the food out in course to give us a chance to enjoy it. He totally understood and did exactly what was asked. He made several exceptional recommendations. One of my favorites was the raw tuna tacos. Absolutely knocked it out! You get plenty of the price. Each course came out nice and hot with zero compliments. The restaurant was completely packed and still almost no wait time. The bar area has a fully stocked bar with 1 jumbo TV in the middle that can be seen from the back of the restaurant and 2 smaller side ones. They have weekly specials for each day of the week. I have never been to BJ’s before. It was a coworker of mine recommended the place for really good Calamari so i thought why not let’s give it a shot. We came here on a Thursday night. It wasn’t super crowded, plenty of empty tables but they still had us wait in the front. It wasn’t long though, about 5 minutes. The real wait was for our waiter. He is pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. it just feels like he’s hardly there. We (of course) ordered the calamari and the wings for appetizer, it came out pretty quick, but was brought out by another waiter, which brought them to the wrong table before bringing it to us. The chicken wings were good but the calamari was *such* a disappointment. It wasn’t even hot, only slightly warm and it was already kind of soggy. Im guessing they were waiting on the wings to bring them out together. The tomato sauce that came with it tasted very mediocre. We also ordered a Peruvian Shrimp with quinoa which was pretty good. The last dish was the chimic
