A little disappointed because I heard this place was supposed to be amazing. I am not sure if it was because we went an hour before closing but my tacos were so freakin dry it was hard to swallow. My birria looked like it was supposed to be carnitas. The didn’t dip the tortilla in the grease like other places do. The fries were good just again the meat needs more flavor. The salsa was super watery too. I expected better….
Great Birria with a fun twist. But it’s heavy, salty, greasy - in a delicious way. Don’t plan on doing anything after, except lounging on the couch or taking a nap. The Birria Pizza was great and so were the quesatacos. Ramen was ok. There are better Ramen noodles out there and they were overcooked in my portion. This dish could use some fine tuning. Also wish they had lamb Birria.
Delicious birria, friendly operators, and a beautiful sunny socal afternoon. not a lot more that you need. be smarter than i was and get more than two tacos or you'll be staring longingly at your friends' plates.
