This place had a nice Northwoods decor and was comfortably casual. We ordered off the menu and the food was good, but i think we goofed up by not ordering the salad bar which looked more like a buffet. Just about everyone else in the restaurant was eating yummy looking fried shrimp, chicken and not sure what else. The prices were pretty good too. The only disappointment was, they seemed to be out of every beer I ordered and I settled on something I didn't like very much.
We stopped at the Birchwood grill after a very long drive from Missouri to Wisconsin. It was 8:00 p.m. and their buffet was amazing still! The meat and the buffet was absolutely wonderful I highly recommend the ribs. Very kid friendly place and the atmosphere is like a woodland Christmas decor. I was able to meet the owner she was the one overseeing the buffet the service was outstanding. If you're headed over the Chicago Wisconsin border I definitely definitely recommend this place!!!
Where to start? Everything from the service, literally the second we walked in, to the most delicious salad bar and buffet was perfect! Amazing bar selections, beautiful decor, welcoming atmosphere, very reasonable prices (I thought I escaped the nightmare of the past 1.5-2 years!), I could go on and on. I'm hesitant posting a review for fear this beautiful establishment will become TOO busy in the near future. Nice work to this team!
