What a lovely place. What a wonderful fusion of eclectic flavors ranging from wild game to Asian infused dishes, with a European flair. Service is excellent beyond professional Our waiter, Tucker went above, and beyond to make sure our experience was a culinary and wine delight. We even had our own private curtain and dining area. Such a romantic night. Found out that this is one of the few family owned restaurants on the Riverwalk. Then at this location 22 years so that says something.
Everything was truly 5 stars. There is a parking garage for Biga customers right outside of the entrance so no real walk to get there. The wait staff was so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and the extensive wine list. They gave great recommendations, and when I could not decide between two different plates, my waiter actually had the two combined in smaller portions so I didn’t have to choose! I had the antelope and quail as well as the lamb. It was phenomenal! We shared the habanero scallops appetizer which was also so good and not too spicy at all! I found the menu to be very reasonably priced for what we got. This was the best meal that I have had in San Antonio in the year that I’ve been living here!
I visited with business colleagues for dinner without reservation. We were seated immediately and had highly attentive service from multiple staff. They offered recommendations and clarification of food choices. 3-course meal was stellar! … More
