Very good fried chicken. Inside of restaurant could of been cleaner. Tables we sat at, I had to wipe down myself. Otherwise, all I can say is the chicken ia good. My 15 yr old said it was the best fried chicken he ever had. He doesn't say that ever about any place we ate fried chicken at.

Quick, friendly service. The chicken was good but the bakes beans and coleslaw were great! The coleslaw is the creamy and sweet. The beans were perfect, not thick but not runny. Sweet flavor without being too heavy. The sprite was mixed perfectly. Every employee I encountered was so friendly.

We stopped here on the way down to Charleston for the weekend based on a friend's recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. The fried chicken was better than the chicken sandwiches that my other people ordered, but it was all tasty. The ordering process was a little hard to figure out for someone who had never eaten there. You place your order and take a ticket but then don't pay until the food is ready and you pick it up. Since there were people standing around waiting for to go orders it was hard to tell what to do, and no one who worked there volunteered that info. Even though our orders were placed immediately after each other, the second chicken sandwich was on a different ticket and took about 10 minutes longer to make than our other food. That was kind of a pain, but not a big deal. The prices were great, and the customer base included business folks in suits, sherrifs, US Army officers, and all sorts of othets, which tells me this place is consistent and a favorite with l
