First time here and it did not disappoint! Everything was amazing and so flavorful! I got the wedge salad, the seafood dish that had scallops, shrimp, mussels and white fish in a yummy tomato sauce, and the creme brûlée for dessert. Waitress was a amazing and the ambience in here is great! I was solo but it’s definitely a great spot to go for girls night or a date.
Came here for restaurant week for a second time as my first experience was just ok. Thought the 2nd one would be better and it also was just ok. For some reason we always have to sit and wait for a server to acknowledge us or I have to ask where our server is. Apparently the bartender is also a server so service is a little spotty. We ordered from restaurant week menu and it just wasn't that great for me. The garlic shrimp appetizers were very flavorful but the grilled chicken main course wasn't and the strawberry shortcake dessert was dry. My friend had the NC trout which was tasty minus the skin being left on but not really an issue. The atmosphere is nice and the cocktail drinks good and strong. I did order the crab cakes off the regular menu which sorta made up for the grilled chicken main course. Maybe I'll try the regular menu at a different time and see if 3rd time the charm.
Alex was great, we did come in after peak business so he was a little slow to get started with us, but that was totally understandable and he was very speedy and attentive after that. Emu was super interesting and very good. We ordered the scallops for the table of 4 to split and that was a big hit. Steak and Lamb were both solid options. Overall a solid dining experience and will definately come back for a special occasion again
