Beola's Chicken & Waffles

This is for the new location in Upland! Had the catfish, tilapia, sautéed chicken strips with brown gravy, collards, mac and cheese, red beans and rice, peach cobbler and that sweet tea. ALL of it was flavorful and cooked very well! Prices were a bit high and the fish portions were a bit small, BUT otherwise and overall, we left satisfied with the quality and quantity. The menu has a good variety of stuff and I will DEFINITELY be back to try everything on it. We need more family owned places like this where you can taste the difference! I’ve seen some criticism and I get it. But they’re new and they’re clearly getting things together. In a time when it’s easy to walk into a food place and get subpar food, disinterested staff, and just a poor experience, I’m thankful places like this have to guts to still put themselves out there. This is a restaurant to support!

This was my second visit in 5 yrs due to moving out of state. I ordered 6 wings that came with 2 pieces of cornbread, a side of greens, cabbage, rice/gravy. When I opened the container I found 6 half wings, the cabbage was burned, the greens were to salty to consume. I was able to eat the 6 half wings and one piece of cornbread for dinner. I was offered two sides for a replacement. I had already arrive at my hotel Total cost $31.00. Will not recommend

Just ate at Beola’s for the first time and will definitely come back again.. Their chicken and waffles were to die for! I’ve honestly never had a waffle as good as theirs, and the chicken was so juicy and seasoned perfectly. Their hot sauce was a perfect complement as well. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
