Belse Restaurant (Dallas)

I loved the restaurant. It was very pretty and when we went on a Sunday around 11 am we were immediately seated. Chance was our server and he took care of the 6 or so tables that were there himself. We got a mimosa, red wine, a pot of tea(amazing) all the drinks were good. We got the sweet potato empanadas and the lemon poppy waffles to share. The waffles were only slightly warm when they got to the table and the sauce really didn’t add anything to the taste. The empanadas were amazingly savory and not at all what i expected. I also had the burger and fries which were delicious as well. Wasn’t a huge fan of the candied onions but they didn’t take away from the burger. Overall our visit was great for a first time visit. But it left nothing to be desired. Nothing was so good that I’d want to go again to have it. Service as first stated was amazing though!

I'm a believer. We walked in, not knowing it was a plant based restaurant. Seconds away from turning around, we decided to try it. A truly fantastic culinary experience. I can't wait to explore the rest of the menu. I could eat the sweet potato empanadas every day for the rest of my life!

Hey Now Say Now Wait Now, it’s ya girl Jewelgoofy. Let me say we had a time yes lawddd a time. Walking up gave us the needed vibes and getting our seats made the stay permanent. From there we started with adult drinks, grapefruit Paloma for myself and a smoked sangria for my husband. For the appetizer we chose the sweet potato empanadas. They had the perfect crips along with amazing flavors and taste. They are a must order menu item. After we tried the tomato and cactus soup. Talk about a soup out of this world the flavors had our minds blown it was incredible. I wish it had bread or crackers to go with it but overall amazing. As for entrees I had the belse burger single patty and my husband had the margherita flat bread. We had zero complaints everything was too good we felt blessed. We even got a complementary dessert (triple decker chocolate cake) for our one year wedding anniversary Thank you thank you thank you Belse and crew!!
