Wonderful food with fresh ingredients and a beautiful ambiance and atmosphere. The staff was accommodating when we wanted a seat with more sunlight and our waiter was amazing and down to earth. Everything tasted fantastic and the hotel and garden was beautiful even after the rain. A must visit!
Brunch, Glorious Bunch. What an excellent experience. Luckily, our spontaneous decision to come only caused a slight delay in seating. Reservations are a better plan. We strolled the piano lounge area and enjoyed the tongue in cheek artwork, many a clever modern play on historic works. Seated in the Sunroom we enjoyed a relaxed bunch. We never felt rushed, but were well attended. The wine spritzer cocktails were a delight, not the typical too sweet pedestrian fare, but well crafted flavor blends. The house made pastry basket is superb and generous: 3 full sized items served warm. Pure delight. The deviled eggs are smooth and flavorful, not overpowered by strong flavors like horseradish. Again, well crafted flavors with bright red caviar and a crisp potato chip. The ground here are lovely, the porch gorgeous. Allow yourself some extra time to wander indoors and out.
10/21-This restaurant is dressed up at night and more casual at breakfast and lunch. With indoor, dining room and porch, and outdoor garden seating, one can find a comfortable nook for different occasions. The food is top notch and they feature a full bar. We had breakfast here each morning of our stay and we spent several days just exploring the eggs Benedict options! This restaurant helped make our stay a wonderful experience!
