Basmatee Indian Grub

This was our first time coming here. We are Indian food newbies. The staff was amazing at explaining the menu. The vegetable samosa was great and the mango smoothie is a must! We will definitely be back!

Glad I made the choice to stop by at Basmatee for my dinner take out today. The food was delicious and service was par excellence. I ordered a combo meal of Dal Makhani, Paneer Tikka Masala & Rice. It came along with naan as well. Well packed in a combo box with more than enough quantity for 1 person. My favorite was definitely Dal Makhani. Well balanced flavors, not too spicy but just the right amount. Fresh naan & fluffy rice complimented the Paneer Curry & Dal Makhni very well. I also, ordered some yummy Gulab Jamuns for the dessert. Thank you for the Mango Lassi to cool down my palate ????. I will definitely be visiting again to try more dishes at Basmatee. Simply delicious. A great option for buffet-like dining. You get to choose from two options; a base (a choice between two types of rice) with one or two entree dishes. You can taste test the dishes too. Super helpful when you can't make up your mind. Very friendly and helpful employees. Best butter chicken we've tasted ever - you can actually taste the butter. Tried chicken moghlai for the first time - so darn good. I definitely will go back.
