I went to Basil today and thought I was going to get the same service as I did all the years of coming here. Today will be the last time I come here, as the food was not what I remember. I got the Thai stir fry, it was greasy, and salty. The egg rolls are not like I remember and the sauces tasted generic. There seems to be nothing special or authentic about the food now. They gave us the lunch menu then charged more for the food. When I asked why the prices online for lunch were less, the waitress said because that’s online ordering. So, in my mind, I was like same food different price. Then at 4:10 pm EDT they sat a couple and gave them the diner menu….hmmmmmm. Online it state diner start at 5. The atmosphere is not the same, it was just really off. The waitress was nice but they don’t have many people working.
A great place for Spicy Thai food. A bit expensive. Good service. Won ton soup was good. Very friendly workers . All in all, a delicious lunch.
