One must-try dish at Barolo Grill in Denver, Colorado is the Agnolotti del Plin. These delicate, hand-pinched ravioli are filled with braised short rib and served with a decadent sugo d'arrosto and Parmigiano-Reggiano. Another standout dish is the Filetto al Barolo, a grilled beef tenderloin accompanied by Barolo wine reduction, roasted shallots, and creamy polenta. For seafood lovers, the Branzino alla Griglia is a must, featuring a perfectly grilled Mediterranean sea bass served with fregola sarda, cherry tomatoes, and Castelvetrano olives. Finish off your meal with the Torta di Mele, a warm apple tart served with caramel sauce and vanilla gelato for a sweet ending to this extraordinary dining experience.

This was my first time dining and it was an absolutely magical experience! Ryan Fletter the owner personally came up to the table to ask how our meal was (delightful btw) and see if we needed anything. My date said the cheesecake was the best dessert he has ever had at a restaurant. I agree. It was lovely! Come, enjoy the experience. Everything was amazing
The focaccia roll was buttery and flavorful with an amazing taste and with an amazing flare of rosemary and rich olive oil. The mushroom soufflé is exploding with balsamic and sweet notes. Woah. Not expecting how good it would be. The risotto was cooked perfectly. Loved the spices they used, one of the best I’ve had. The cheese that is paired within the risotto dish is incredible. Uhm sorry Capital Grille, you’ve got some serious competition with how on point and perfectly cooked and flavored this beef tenderloin was. The braised duck, their signature dish for 31 years, was out of this world. This restaurant has high reviews for a reason. They are on point with everything they serve. I’m not a fan of tiramisu, but man, they give such an incredibly small portion. I’ve had better tiramisu at way cheaper and less popular restaurants. It’s also not a traditional tiramisu-it’s just a small muffin with dabs of chocolate and a macaroon. Our waitress emphasized the tiramisu was supposed to be
Still, my favorite Italian restaurant in the Denver metro. Slow food. The service is prompt. But the process is fresh and intended for conversation. Try the pre-fix menu. Lots of choices, and the wine paring is excellent.
