Le Bilboquet Denver

Our party of four had a wonderful dining experience here. The wait staff was very professional, and helpful. Our table was comfortable and they have a very nice selection of dishes and cocktails. The name of the restaurant is for the wooden cup with attached ball on a string game, see photo.

Authentic French bistro food in a very elegant setting. Wine list is excellent, nice to see Veuve rose on the menu. Foie gras terrine was generous in its portion. Escargots were delightful and you need more bread to sop up the beautifully herbed butter. Smoked salmon was super fresh and served with excellent accoutrements. Mussels were in a never ending bowl of savory white wine butter herbed broth. Very happy meal.

I love this restaurant and will go back again and again. I like to sit inside because i love the blue velvet decor and fuschia orchids and the friendly servers. Obviously most people order the Cajun chicken which is divine. My friend ordered it and it didn’t disappoint. I ordered the Niçoise salad. It was quite good although the tomatoes were not fresh. Unfortunately they were almost rotten. Our shares appetizer of marinated diced diver scallops was delish. I also enjoyed the tartness of the lavender lemonade. Overall a good experience.
