Barnaby's Cafe

Cafe's and restaurants are judged mainly on their food and atmosphere, Barnaby's has neither. It's the equivalent of waffle house in a downtown location. I don't give 1 stars unless the experience was absolutely horrid. It serves food that is passable for a meal but you can do alot better for the same money elsewhere.

Overall, this was a good experience. My food was tasty and well prepared and the cost was reasonable. This is pretty far from my office, so I don't think I'd trek all the way over here just for the food, but if I were in the area I would come back. My server did not seem very interested in answering my questions, but he was prompt and not rude. The mini brownie for dessert was the perfect size for a little snack. The strawberry lemonade was good, but very sweet. My burger was easily the best part of the meal. It was cooked to medium and juicy and the flavor and bun were great.

I have had the Chicken Fattouch Salad here over 25 times. It is one of my favorite salads around. Crisp fresh romaine, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese, herbs, baked pita chips and a grilled chicken breast. The chicken is grilled over a real fire, has great grill lines and a smoky taste. Somehow it is always cooked perfectly, every time. They are on Uber Eats so I get one of these salads delivered at least once a week. I also like the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Very crisp tasty fries.
