After an epic fail at lion fish we ended up here because, well, it was late and it was open. So glad we did. What started off as a bad date night turned out to be a great one. Mostly because of Kristina. She was fantastic and took really great care of us. Actually everyone did. The entire supporting cast was just on top of it. Oh, the food…yes it was delicious. Now we didn’t have the full entrees, but what we did have was on point. Chili 5 stars…the “half” salad 5 stars (it’s a full salad anywhere else) and the heirloom tomato flat bread…5 stars. Needless to say…highly recommended.

A great spot to eat, have a beer or cocktail, and people watch in the heart of downtown San Diego. I had lunch outside, but the inside has an inviting bar atmosphere. I had the mushroom mac n cheese with the short ribs add- on, and man listen... if you like grown-up mac n cheese, this is for you! It was delicious. I also had the lime, coconut, tequila drink... so good! My server gave great suggestions, was very nice, and came to check on me a good amount of times. I'd bring friends that are visiting here for a chill lunch or casual dinner.

This is the place to go to when you don’t know where to go. It’s always busy, the food is good and the prices are modest. We shared the All In fries which were great and my duck Mac and cheese was good as well. This place always has games on and is one of the premier places to watch games downtown.
