Balkan Treat Box

Is give it 10 stars if I could. The staff was very friendly and had great recommendations. Every single bite of food was delicious. Take the suggestions from the staff on sauces to use and stuff. They know what they’re talking about. Only suggestion is to get there early. We arrived about 30 minutes after they opened and got in easily but from then on there was a long line to order the whole time we were eating our food. I got the #4 with beef and added on the whipped feta sauce and the sopksa salad. The #4 was a little spicy but in the perfect way. Not too hot

I was super excited to try Balkan food because I had never had it before and this place did not let me down! I was very impressed by the wood fired oven which added a lot of flair to the restaurant and convinced me that the food was going to taste amazing. Be mindful that the portion sizes are big and we left with food to go. We started with the brown butter hummus and bread which was exquisite. I then got their balik ekmek which was generously stuffed with red snapper, vegetables and sauce. I haven’t eaten anything quite like it and it blew my mind. We finished with their rice pudding. The pudding itself was creamy but not heavy and went really well with the pistachios. I’ll be returning to try out everything else on the menu!

We made it to Balkan Treat box. First thing that we saw was a huge line and we were considering leaving. But the line moved quickly and we decided to give it a try. Very well organized establishment where with huge demand they are handling it very well. The food is simply delicious and available for both vegan and vegetarian. For those who do like meat nearest mini me choices as well. While main choices are limited to 8 dishes, they’re all Must try. Plenty of parking in the back, pick up available and had two restrooms.
