I had the fish tacos combo, the ingredients all tasted fresh from the deep fried fish to the vegetable toppings & various sauces. The fish didn't have any fishy smell or taste, best part about it! I will definitely return & eat here again if I'm the area. For the price point, I wish the tortillas were fresh cooked to order that would turn the taste of the fish tacos up a notch in my book.
My favorite meal when visiting McAllen. I don't really like fish ... but the charismatic young man in front of this food truck earnestly promised they were the best fish tacos in the world. The best fried fish shrimp without having to drive to the island. Huge portions and great price. The spicy chipotle sauce has the perfect amount of flavor and heat.
