Bailey's Cafe

This seemed to be a mom and pop shop. My hubby had chicken fried steak with onion rings. I had crispy chicken sandwich and my kiddo had chicken tenders. We shared jalapeno poppers as well. Everything was delicious, everything was full of flavor. The tenders were juicy. Staff was upbeat and the young man that served us was very pleasant. We dined in, the restaurant inside was small, but we didn't mind. I marked this in my Google maps so if we pass by we can stop here.

Great little local eatery! Food is delicious and tastes homemade. They have an all you can eat catfish special for a great price and the catfish is so good. The batter they use is savory and has some herbs in it.. it’s fried nice and crispy ???? Great friendly staff. A must if you’re looking for a local place to eat in Ennis!

It’s the little things, cup of homemade soup given with the menus was good and unexpected. Little things like a server with a smile, and quick service is just the start. Chicken fried steak, one of the best I’ve had, but corn so fresh like cut off the cob fresh and sweet. Mashed potatoes that were really just made from scratch- the whole meal start to finish was great!!! Parking is a little tight but well worth the time!!! Highly recommend Bailey’s!!! Ps my son had the fish and I couldn’t even smell it- that fresh, and I don’t do seafood lol!!!
