The Good, the service was good, but we were the only customers. The coleslaw was good, and so was the pulled pork. Love that they didn't have sauce on it. The Bad, the mac and cheese is homemade and a a very bitter taste. Almost vinegar taste. The sides we ordered were supposed to be the $5 price. The server said they had 3 price points on the sides. Not the 2 listed on the menu. So we said we will take the $5. But were charged $8. So $16 for 2 sides. The Ugly, the brisket was dry, dry, dry, it doesn't make for good BBQ. The chicken was also very, very, dry. I didn't know you could dry out dark meat, but they managed to do it. And the smoke on the chicken, because of the dryness was rancid. The prices seemed reasonable until the bill came and the mistakes were on the bill. $70 for lunch and not a good one. We shared the $25 sampler and a pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides and 2 iced teas. Lesson learned. Will not be back. And we usually give a restaurant three trie
This review is only for their ribeye. See picture for your self. I ordered a medium rare ribeye and baked potato. 40 min later that’s the result. Not only was the steak small and well done, it was tasteless. And they gave me half a potato. All for $25. They might have decent BBQ but I would personally never return. Update: I want to clarify that the price for the ribeye was $25, not that they charged me $25. I changed my order to Ribs and brisket later, and the brisket was very dry. Ribs were ok, and the best thing on the plate was their French fires.
