Backdoor BRGR

Backdoor has been on my radar for awhile, so it was great to finally make it. Overall, it was a great experience. Food and service were both excellent. We got sat pretty quickly with drinks delivered shortly thereafter. I loved the giant metal mug for my Coke and my wife loved that her water came in a metal cup as well. I didn't ever have to ask for a refill and both our drinks stayed crisp and cool for the whole meal. The shake came out before the food and was probably one my favorite strawberry shakes I've ever had. Lots of fruit pieces happily mixed into creamy and loose vanilla ice cream. I know many people prefer thick shakes (which are more common here) but this would still be worth your time for flavor. We waited a bit for the burgers, but waiting has never been a problem for me. If they're making it fresh, what's the rush? Especially as things picked up a bit. I ordered the Stoneman burger. I loved that I could taste the layers of flavor in the burger, including the beef itself

We have gone 3 times in the last week. The grumpy Claire is the best burger I have ever had! This place is my new fav restaurant! Get the sour cream and onion fries!!!

Try the guacamole, onion, and bbq burger... It is the best in Provo. The peanut butter and jalapeno raspberry jelly is wonderful too. Fries are actually worth it here, fry sauce has a lot of flavor and pairs really well with the sour cream and onion fries. The atmosphere is great, more rustic, would paneling all over the walls, Western posters, etc. Surprised that the best burger and fries are found at the same place. Not typically my experience.
