B-Daddy's Barbecue BBQ

B-Daddy's was such a surprise! The owner/manager, Kyle, and his team, Chelsea, Gunner and Joel, were knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. We ordered their faves. The smoked turkey, pulled pork and jalapeño sausage were fantastic, of course. You'd expect that from a good bbq restaurant. But the brisket birria and the consumé were out of this world. And their sides!! Usually sides at bbq places aren't the stars of the show, but these are. Their green beans are special. Yep, green beans. And I didn't know I liked creamed corn until I tried their jalapeño creamed corn. Amazing. They make 2 bbq sauces, and both were great too. They have a great beverage selection, including one of my faves -- BOXT Profile #9 as their house rosé. Most of all, they made us feel like part of the family. I can't wait to get down there again to eat through the rest of the menu!

Flavor: A+ Service: A Tea: A Solo dining: A When someone recommends a BBQ place in San Antonio, you wonder if you really need to try another one. In this case, YOU DO. The brisket is juicy, tender, and melts in your mouth. All the sides I had were great but the star of the show was the cream corn. That stuff is delicious. I liked both of the BBQ sauces. Don’t be afraid of the sweet & spicy sauce - as someone who can’t tolerate any spice I thought it was good. They are kind of stingy with it though. Other than that, I have nothing but great things to say about this new BBQ find.

Enjoyed the turkey and marbled brisket with two sides, potato salad and creamed corn. Two BBQ sauces to try, sweet and vinegar.
