Avli Restaurant

Greek with a little "g". The food was clean good and presented well. The ambiance was nice, the service was pretty good. But the food lacked flavor. The xoriatiki had zero dressing, the lamb chops were cooked really well, but nothing Greek about it. Also weird no Greek music or anything. I hate giving Avli bad review but in general add some lemon and oregano.

Words can't describe what a lovely time I had at this establishment. Being from the area I decided to give Avli another chance for date night this week. We were greeted warmly by the manager who engaged in giving us a personalized experience, the entire restaurant was full of warm ambiance! I highly recommend the cocktails, we tried a couple different ones and they were all pleasantly balanced. If you're looking for a place that feels like home, I suggest you try them out.

We recently hosted my daughter's baptism on the patio at Avli in Winnetka. We worked with Alex- he was great! We had 32 people - four tables of eight people. We were able to pick food for the apps/first course and then we had guests pick their main course. We brought in our own dessert- which is pretty standard for Greek baptisms (family enjoys baking traditional items). I was VERY impressed with how kind the staff was when I dropped off items the day prior. They also went out of their way to set-up the patio with the decor I brought. I drew them a picture of how I wanted the space to be & it was beautiful. The food was delicious & staff was very kind. I highly recommend hosting an event at the restaurant.
