Augy's Restaurant & Pizza

Michelle is always our waitress since we come in on friday’s for the lunch buffet special, and she always offers amazing service and makes sure we are well taken care of!

Visited Augy’s during Thursday lunch hour. Our work staff sat down around 12:45 and food didn’t arrive until 1:48pm. The waitress, while kind, seemed overwhelmed to take both our drink and food orders at the same time. Not sure if she was the only waitress for the entire restaurant but she spent 10-15 minutes between taking drink and food orders. She did not refresh our empty cups until the food came out. When the food finally did come out, it was noticeable that some of the food had been sitting for quite a bit whilst others were straight out of the oven. I understand restaurants always do that so as to bring all the food out at once but they brought out the non-pizza entrees way beforehand. Alternatively, they can put them under a heat lamp. Overall, the staff was nice and the food was decent but the inattentiveness from the waitress and the incredibly long wait time ruined the experience. Several us were late for our 2:00pm meetings. We won’t be returning back as a staff to Augy’s.

Very good dishes and generous portions. This spot has been around for many years. Greta vodka sauce, great piccata, always consistent.
