Aubergine Kitchen

I love this place. My wife talked me into trying it and I’m so happy I did. The food is super fresh and healthy. Normally when I eat out I just feel terrible after. Not here! And it’s super duper delicious. Today I got the baked falafel platter and it was great.

We have been to Aubergine several times in Draper now, including another location in Riverton. We enjoy eating here because it’s a fresher, healthier alternative with plenty of options to choose from. My wife ordered the protein avocado crisp salad, which comes with the cilantro jalapeño dressing and a lot of fresh ingredients. The dressing is delicious! I ordered the steak melt on pita, which came with a side of the dressing for dipping and has tri tip. It was also delicious. But what keeps us coming back is the cheesebread! Similar to what you’d get at a Brazilian steakhouse, these are addicting! We also love their assortments of fresh limeade and herbal teas.

This is my new go to place in Draper. I love the bowls! Chicken Harvest is my favorite. All the veggies are roasted or grilled and seasoned. It was so good I didn’t even need to use the dressing. Even the kale tasted good, and I hate kale. And the sweet potatoes!!!! So amazing!! Tip, add the red cabbage to your bowl, you won’t regret it. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 is that the staff doesn’t fully seem to know what to do and they aren’t very attentive. They weren’t rude at all, but everyone seems sort of confused. Maybe it’s part of the pain of getting up and running. Also, I wouldn’t get the pizza. It looks nothing like the picture and is a bit lackluster.
