This place has gone downhill. Food used to be great and my favorite taco spot. Now the steak tacos taste like broiled low quality beef and not worth the price. Place is dirty and not well kept. I’ll probably never come back again which saddens me bc I have been going here for over 15 years. Very disappointed in my last 2-3 trips here.
Beer was warmish, the tacos were good. Guac was a bit oxidized but overall it was aight.
Not what it used to be. I ordered a total of six tacos. The protein was incorrect on half of the tacos and all of them were missing beans all together. The protein that I received did not taste correct. It tasted like they boiled in a pot of water and chopped it up. When I called to make a correction no one picks up the phone anymore. If this is the best you can do now just go ahead and close the doors. I’m a long time Raleigh resident and even prior to living in Raleigh I lived in Chapel Hill and enjoyed the Carrboro location. I remember where they started and I see where they are now. This is embarrassing for armadillo grill.
