If you are a veteran, do not go here. My friend went in to receive her veteran’s free entree that was widely advertised for Veteran’s Day. When picking up her order, they only gave her 10% off, and would not give her the free entree. A man came in after my friend, and received the discount. After talking with the manager, it was explained that they only offer the discount for to-go orders in “extreme cases.” My friend has served in the US Army and this is what she gets in return? Applebees doesn’t care about our fearless soldiers and veterans who have and continue to fight for our freedom.
I usually love going to this location but I don’t think I’ll be going back unfortunately. The lettuce was wilted and dirty. The broccoli was old and gross and our potatoes were burnt brown instead of the white color they’re supposed to be. I pointed out the salad and asked the owner/boss woman for a new appetizer for a replacement but the owner ended up charging us for them anyway and just taking 3.50 off our bill. I don’t see how that’s compensation for dirt in my food and my broccoli molding/wilting. It doesn’t seem like the women who runs the place knew what she was doing or cared to say the least.
