Applebee's Grill + Bar

Went in last night to see if things changed after 2 months. Amanda was my server and she was absolutely amazing. The world needs more servers like her. Food took a bit but was very hot when we got it. She was very attentive. Did every request we had in a timely manner and was overall a happy person. Didnt see her not smile. She was even able to play a dice game with another customer and still take care of tables

We ordered margaritas and asked for light ice and sugar rim, drinks were made and sat on the bar for 15 min before we even received them.. on top of that I could tell that they didn't do the sugar rim and before they brought them the waitress did tell the bartender and he got another glass and thrown sugar on it.. when brought to the table the drink had bare to no sugar and was dripping everywhere from them putting it into another glass and made a big mess on the table.. we asked the waitress for napkins and she never brought them.. we asked the manager and it took him 10 mins and finally brought them.. by that time I told them they could take the drink back and just get me a Pepsi with no ice.. brought me a Pepsi with half ice.. its the concept of simple asks and none achieved.. the waitress brought the food and the food was lukewarm to cold, we did not eat the food and was asked why, I told them about the issues and they said the reasons for the delay was that they were busy when the

The food was good. The waitress was friendly. But the carpet was dirty, the AC was hot, and the dining room was barren. Plus we were charged for a take out drink at the end of the.meal. Every other restaurant offers a drink to go as one leaves.(especially in the 100 deg F heat)
