Applebee's Grill + Bar

Arrived here at 10:30 pm on a Fri evening and was advised by the general manager there was a 45 minute wait. He only had 2 servers on the floor and had only 3 tables seated away from the bar. His offer was we could squeeze into bar chairs at an already crowded bar or freeze our tails off outside. Fortunately the bartender was a great server and was able to accommodate us and the rest of the neighborhood, lol, at the bar.

We visited on a Friday lunchtime and the place wasn't busy. Service was great - very attentive and quick. The meal combos seemed a good idea, though I had a Whiskey Bacon Burger - while excessive and good, I needed a fix of full on American burger! As always, it's nice to check out the walls which are decorated based on local (school) teams in this case

My daughters wanted to try Applebee's, mostly because of the song. I have not been in a very long time. This location was very clean, and service was good. The girls enjoyed the kids' cheeseburger. I'm happy they have choices for entrees and sides for the kids. The adult cheeseburger was decent and my husband ordered the tequila lime chicken. A good place for a "during the week after soccer practice" stop.
