Applebee's Grill + Bar

I am not a fan of Applebee's, I have had more bad experiences than good in the 20 years I've been dining there. However... This particular restaurant is the best one I've been to. We ate here at 9pm on a Sunday and had no trouble being seated quickly. The restaurant was clean and well staffed. Our server Jacob was friendly, courteous and kind. Didn't have to wait long for our food, and it was cooked to perfection. Applebee's is a cheap date night with no frills. If you are in the area and you're hungry on a budget, look no further.

Terrible experience at this location. We ordered to-go food that said it would be ready within 30minutes. Arrived to the restaurant to pickup at designated time and had to wait an additional 20mins. There is no where to stand or sit while waiting so you just have to stand in this tiny section at the back where the staff is going in and out of the kitchen. Several staff members asked if we had been helped and we told them we were waiting on a pickup order. They would say they were going to check but never came back to give an update. One waitress finally said they were “bagging” the food but it still didn’t come out of the kitchen. When we finally got the bag it was not even the correct order. We were missing an entire entree and the salads in the bag had no dressing. We asked for the manager and someone from the kitchen came out and said he would make the other entree. After waiting even longer and our other food getting cold we asked for a refund. The manager tried to give us a vouche

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. We came in and sat down at 10 and it wasn’t until 20 minutes later our order was taken. We watched everyone else walk in after us, within minutes they got their food, paid and left. After an HOUR AND A HALF at 11:30pm we got our food- and it was not good to say the least. My friends’ pastas looked like they sat out for a few minutes and they brought me out the wrong thing. I hope no one else has to experience this horrible service like we did. It probably wasn’t the server’s fault- but do better Applebees on Congaree.
