Applebee's Grill + Bar

Most of the time you can get pretty decent food here, the portion sizes are sometimes laughable for the money you pay but nonetheless, the food is okay. 9/10 times that I come here, after ordering for car side To-Go, I usually have to go inside and bring it to my own car, but tonight, I actually got someone to come to the car and bring me my order. My issue this visit is that when I pulled up, there was a guy sitting in a booth rolling silverware. As soon as I pulled up, you could see his attitude through the window. Reading lips does not require a Doctorate, so I could immediately tell that he was running his mouth about having to do anything other than sit there. Then, after my food came to the car and I tipped them 15% to literally bring me a bag outside, I could see him and another employee talking trash about the tip that I left. They should be thankful that I left one to begin with.

Two stars only because food was good. Service on the other hand...well, lets just say that everything took a week to get to us. Our drinks were 10 minutes and we are not talking adult beverages. Almost everything was messed up. Server took zero responsibility and blamed it on the kitchen . Our appetizer was not brought out until we were half way thru our meal!!!!! Refills for our ( sodas) were.20 minutes getting back to us after we asked for refills. And the sad thing...it wasnt even at half capacity . Not sure what was going on but ya expect an appetizer way before your meal. And yes they charged for it...on our friends bill. At least the food was good and hot even if our sides were messed up.

I got the chicken alfreado, bourbon street chicken, and crispy fried shrimp. The food was good with fast and fresh service Kid-friendliness: I come here with my neices all the time
