The best Italian restaurant in Central Florida! We've been looking for a place comparable to New York Italian and so glad we stumbled upon Antonio's. We've only eaten upstairs in the restaurant but they do have a casual market on the first floor you can eat at also. I think they have different menus though. Definitely need a reservation as this place sometimes can get busy. The red sauce is great and my husband says the calamari is the best locally as well. Pictured is chicken parm w/ penne & lobster ravioli. Their bread and oil is ???? Overall one of our favorite spots to great italian.
I was actually very excited to eat here… called in asked if there was a dress code and was told it was business casual. That was ok we decided to just order for pick up. Now we went and placed our order (for 6 people) plus I had questions since I had never been there. The lady seemed frustrated and it was fine again yes I had questions and it was an order for 6 people. She took down my information and hung up before I could say anything. Went to the restaurant after 35 minutes, first there were people in shorts and T-shirts so I was already not feeling too great about however it was fine. Waited in line and a new shift started (from what the lady at the register said) she said there was a note for me letting me know that 80% of what I had ordered was not available! I know it was not her fault but HONESTLY?!? Couldn’t they have called me? I ordered for my family waited a while for more than half for my order not be available and not be told about until I got to the restaurant? Honestly
Our lunch was wonderful, the atmosphere the story the deli, and the market, and restaurant all rolled into one. Our server was on point and very polite and made us very welcome to be there and helped our experience along by guiding us through the menu and the history behind Antonio's, I cannot for the life of me remember her name but I remember she said she is from Maitland and had been eating there for most of her life. We got garlic bread to start and it was what you wanted from cheesy garlic bread, for lunch I tried the lasagna which as a chef and foody I would consider it in my top 3 lasagne I've had. The girlfriend said the same about her parm chicken. We opted for desert and I had the tiramusu while the girlfriend had cake. The server enlightened us that the cake isn't made in house but from a manufacturer that they've been using for years. The tiramusu was probably the best I've had and the girlfriend loves her chocolate cake and said it tastes homemade, so big win. We live abou
