Every time I come to monroeville I always stop here. The first time I ate here was with a huge group of friends, we all got different pizzas and I loved all of them. I’ve also tried their wings and meatballs. The meatballs are SO good. The sauce is more like marinara, with a dollop of ricotta cheese. *chefs kiss* My favorite is that they have Kentucky barrel bourbon ale on tap, and during Christmas is their peppermint porter.
Great carnivore pizza. Tequila shots? Fantastic! Garlic knots? Fughetabahit! Service? Meh ....
Outstanding food! The staff was incredibly kind! When we were seated we were asked if we've ever been there before, when we said no they offered to get us a free sample of the wings and told us all about their cooking method. The wings were so flavorful and had a fantastic texture, they were also cooked in the coal oven. The pizza had a fantastic and smokey taste. The crust gets a little burnt due to the heat of the oven but the rest of the pizza is cooked to perfection!
